Integrations let your agent act during a conversation, such as checking availability and booking a slot, sending a confirmation email or creating a lead, while the caller is still on the line.
Available integrations
| Integration | What the agent can do |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | List events and create bookings |
| Gmail | Send emails, create drafts and read messages |
| Outlook (Microsoft 365 mail) | Send emails, create drafts and read messages |
| Slack | Post messages and read channels |
| Salesforce | Find, create and update leads and opportunities |
| HubSpot | Search contacts, companies and deals |
| Zoho CRM | Search leads, contacts, deals and accounts |
| Jira | Find, create, update and move issues |
| Asana | Find, create and update tasks and projects |
Every agent can also work out today’s date and resolve phrases like “next Tuesday”, so bookings land on the right day.
Connect an account
- Open Integrate (Integrations) in the sidebar.
- Choose the service and sign in to authorise access. You can connect several accounts and rename them so your team knows which is which.
- Open your agent and assign the integrations it may use.
Integration tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and every action an agent takes through an integration is recorded in an audit log.
Actions that change data are confirmed first
Reading data, such as checking a calendar or searching a CRM, happens straight away. Actions that create, update, send or delete something, such as booking a slot or sending an email, are confirmed with the person first.
Tell the agent when to use each tool
Connecting an integration gives the agent the ability; your instructions tell it when to use it. Be explicit:
“When a caller wants an appointment, check availability in Google Calendar and offer two slots. Book the one they choose and send a confirmation email to the address they give you.”
Example setups
- Receptionist: Google Calendar for bookings, Gmail or Outlook for confirmations, Slack for urgent messages
- Lead qualification: Salesforce to create a lead, or HubSpot and Zoho to check whether the caller is already a customer
- Support: Jira or Asana to create a ticket with the issue and the caller’s details
Integrations or webhooks?
Use integrations when the agent needs to act during the call. Use webhooks to send the call ID and captured fields to any system after the call ends.
Custom integrations
If you need the agent to use your own system, for example to look up an order or a job status, add a custom API tool: give it the method, path and parameters, and the agent can call it during the conversation. Dedicated connectors can be scoped and quoted separately. Talk to us.
